Job Description

Our mission is to provide top-tier esports reporting. The Onboarding & Partnerships Associate will work with our editorial staff and reporters who are producing content with the objective of reaching millions of viewers on the Esportz Network.

The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of all things eSports, the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, and the ability to track a variety of moving pieces across multiple projects. A passion for live streaming is a big plus.

  • Evaluate editorial staff approved content created by Esportz Network reporters.
  • Assess growth potential based on historical and real-time analytics.
  • Identify and track trends both site-wide and within unique communities.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and advice for growing Esportz Network’s media channels.
  • Proactively gather feedback on each media channel Esportz Network utilizes for broadcasting.
  • Identify any new or up-and-coming social channels which should also be considered for broadcasting.
  • Present feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Own and improve the onboarding process for new reporters and any other content sources.
  • Maintain data and document repositories for outreach and finance
  • Manage the documentation of team workflows
  • Track, organize, and manage multiple workflows through our approved systems and reporting tools.
  • Work with our Editorial staff to help resolve any Reporter or content provider issues.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners, teams and reporters.
  • Present feedback to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure.
  • Highly familiar with Microsoft Suite, Google Docs and Google Drive.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and highly-motivated.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of self-managing and spearheading new initiatives.
  • Gets along well with others and has an interest in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Passion for streaming, gaming, and esports.
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of the global competitive landscape, including awareness of industry, its trends, competitive intelligence and best practices.
  • Ability to manage projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Night and weekend availability are required.

Additional Considerations
  • Data analysis experience using Excel or similar tools
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with Trello
  • PR/Customer Service/Legal background
  • Account management experience for an esports or gaming organization
  • Familiarity with the Twitch platform as both a user and broadcaster
  • 5+ years’ experience in games, entertainment, sports, or related industry, including roles in esports program management experience.
  • Experience working on live events, tournaments, and/or live broadcasts.
  • Proven experience working for or with professional esports organizations.
  • Willingness to travel to esports tournaments and gaming conventions (PAX, E3, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
